The first offering was Quick Gin – original, the first gin to focus on a slice of orange as the serve.
It is a bold gin with full-bodied orange notes combined with a total of 11 complimentary botanicals. Soon after, a Mixed Berry & Rose variant was launched which gave to the market another new combination of flavour profiles that was incredibly versatile as a long drink, or when used in cocktails. The gins were launched across the Westcountry and well received, culminating in an order for 20,000 bottles of the original by a major supermarket for a summer campaign in 2020. The gin market in particular though was saturated and we were already looking to the future.
Whilst still a new category, demand for quality non- alcoholic and alcohol free spirits aimed at adults is growing, with people becoming more health conscious and aware of the positive social impact of reducing alcohol consumption.
There is a shift away from soft drinks, with consumers becoming more discerning, wanting more sophisticated, quality NoLo versions of their alcoholic counterparts, with no compromise on taste.
We set about developing a NoLo version of our Quick range, to test the water, and when we were happy, produced a small amount and put this in a few select locations. In taste tests we were streets ahead of the competition, often with participants admitting they struggled to differentiate between the alcoholic and non alcoholic versions of our product. This is exactly what we had aimed for but the goal was not to produce a ‘Quick’ range, this was just the means to an end.

We are able to produce in large volumes and from March 2022 our capacity will be 1.3 million bottles per year.
